Have you guys visited the new branch of Hello Kitty Cafe in Myeongdong, Seoul? It was actually opened last year. I had a lunch date with a friend yesterday in Myeongdong. While waiting for her, I decided to walk around and check what’s new. But then it was cold so I went inside Hello Kitty Cafe to grab some hot latte. I liked the place because it wasn’t crowded though it was weekend. A group of young Japanese tourists and I were the only customers. They were so cute saying “kawai..kawai!” Hehe! Here are some photos of the place.
How to get there:
Take subway line 4 and get off at Myeongdong Station. Take exit gate 6 (west) and walk along the main Myeongdong alley. Turn left on the second block (you can see Lacoste outlet) and walk down to the end of the alley. You’ll see HKC on the 2nd floor of the building.
- Address: (100 – 810 ) 28, Myeongdong 4-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea
- Contact Number: 02-318-6570
You can also visit other Hello Kitty cafes in Hongdae and Jeju Island.
Check Hello Kitty website for more information. 🙂
Just few steps away from Hello Kitty cafe, you can see this Korean street food store selling different kinds of sausages, fish cake on sticks, kimbap, tteokbokki and many more! They were mouth-watering but I was trying to keep my stomach ready for an Italian lunch date with my friend. Haha. See you again next time, street food!
I was taking a photo of the new Holika Holika building along the main alley when this mascot came in front of me and asked me to take a photo of him. Haha. So cute! Say “kimcheeeee!”
I am so glad that Hello Kitty Cafe has opened a new branch in my favorite place in Seoul. I can take a rest at a cute and pretty place when I feel exhausted after shopping. Hehe! Til next post! 🙂
