Etude House Pink Pong Collagen Water

At last, Etude House has come up with something edible! Pink Pong Collagen water was launched last April. It comes in a cute bottle with a pink cap. The packaging is girly and adorable just like any other Etude House product. When you visit Etude House outlet, you can see a small fridge where this beauty beverage is stored.

What is collagen by the way? It is a remarkable protein that acts like a cushion for the skin helping it look strong, healthy and glowy. It improves the skin’s elasticity, which provides finisse, beauty and freshness. As we get older, our body tends to produce less collagen causing loss of skin elasticity and wrinkles. Many Korean beauty products contain collagen as it helps reduce signs of aging. They come in various forms like cream, toner, beverage, capsule or injectables.

Going back to Etude House collagen water, this ‘inner beauty’ product is sweet peach flavored. It boasts higher level of collagen content than any other beauty drinks that have ever been introduced in Korea. It contains 1,000 mg of low-molecular-weight collagen which helps keep skin moisturized and healthy. The smell is really great but honestly, I don’t like the taste. It tastes like water with sugar or melted candy. I don’t know how to explain it but for me, the taste isn’t great.

  • Korean price: 1,700 won ($1.5)
  • Content: 330 ml
  • Calorie: 160

I bought two bottles of this collagen water: one for me and another one for my mom-in-law to try. She loved it! Yeah, Koreans love anything that makes one beautiful. It’s skincare in a drink anyway! Have you tried this drink? Let me know if you like or hate the taste. 🙂
